Kind of cool a fast food place has a Christmas party.
Whatever they do to get good employees, other places need to follow. If Popeyes had those kind of Employees they would be bigger than McDonald's.
Everyone who goes to Popeyes laments the service but lauds the food.

The Popeyes here has shitty service and the food sucks as well. Tiny arse bland chicken. Nothing like in NO. Even Bojangles is better than Popeyes here.

Popeyes really has started cooking baby chicken.

It’s nothing like it used to be.

It's higher quality fast food than most places with EXPONENTIALLY better customer service. No one is claiming that it's fine dining.

I have to take my hat off to the Chik-Fil-As in Memphis. My mother has doctors appointment in Memphis and we tend to run by Chik-Fil-A on the way back.

They are so busy there they have cars backed up onto the street if its even close to lunch time but they pull it off like a well oiled machine. They even have an assistant manager out directing cars for the best way to avoid traffic getting out of their parking lot and drive thru.

Exceptional service from that chain.

Having not lived in NOLA since I was a year old, I am shocked by the praise. In my hometown, the Popeyes was so awful that the manager once said to my Mom when the ordering was severely delayed due to the employees lounging around: “Hey, we’re talking here, so how about you be polite and stop interrupting our conversation?” Popeyes is worse than KFC in my mind.

Great service, but the food is weak.

Might be a charitable fundraiser. They've done that in the past.

Potentially this because the parking lot was empty not that long ago but someone was cleaning the drive-through lane (maybe pressure washing).

Otherwise, it seems like a short Christmas party.

That would be the one yes. How is the area by the way? I've been debating moving mom across the river to Memphis because it might be another two years before the hospital here is up and running and if she has a health crisis I don't want to be 45 minutes away from an ER.

A lot of it has to do with employees being motivated. It looks good on a resume to go through the Chik-Fil-A and Disney training programs. The kids know it and want a good recommendation from those companies when they graduate from college. Pretty smart for both sides.
