It's fact that the later in life a woman has children the more likely the eggs will be abnormal, and result in abnormalities in the baby.
Let me guess, you also know someone who smoked 3 packs a day and lived to 100.

I'm 46 and don't want any more kids so that's no real issue for me. My wife has had a normal libido in her 40s. I think another thing you probably aren't considering is that yours is going to decline too. I still like sex, but I'd be lying if I said I needed it as much as I did when i was 27

Married guys tell me that once she hits 40 and the menopause kicks in that her libido is gone and it's basically like having a room mate that's pissed off all of the time.

I know a few women that have had kids around 40-42. I can't think of any beyond that but I'm sure it's biologically possible for some.

Women are most likely to have smooth pregnancies & healthy babies in their late teens and early 20's.
That's just fact.
Throughout history women normally started reproducing in their teens.
Obviously in modern times, where women want to attend college & have careers first, it doesn't align with their preferred time table.
But nature doesn't care, the eggs she loses early on are the healthiest, the eggs she loses last are the least healthy.
