I know there are a lot of "Bad hippie muh liberal crowd on this site" but its incredible what those guys over there have been able to do for modern day America. Look at these companies and imagine a US if these companies never existed.
Apple & Google - Changed our lives forever.
PayPal, Venmo, Cash App - Changes the way we sent money.
Tesla - Introduced electric cars to the world
Microsoft & Apple - Introduced computing and changed human behavior forever.
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, WhatsApp, Snapchat - Led to revolutions, marriages, relationships, a new age of receiving information and changed our interactions forever.
Dell, Intel, IBM, -
Palantir, Bing, Google, Yahoo - Changed how we received information forever.
Apple Music, Itunes, Pandora, Spotify - Changed entertainment and music consumption forever.
Airbnb, Uber, Lyft - Changed transportation and living forever, disrupted the dominant taxi and travel industry.
Space X, Blue Origin, Hyper Loop - Disrupting Space forever.
Netflix, Hulu, Streaming TV - Changed our TV consumption forever, disrupted traditional cable.
Doordash, Grubhub - You know...
Linkedin, Dropbox, Tinder, Apple Mapx, Facetime, Siri, Alexa, Twitch, Zillow, Pintrest, Whatsapp. These are all SV contributions to the world.
And Amazon, eBay.... well you know the rest is history.
I don't even mention Ndividia that changed the way you game, Oracle, Cisco, Stripe, and others.
Arguably SV has led to the greatest creation of wealth in history.
For those of you that invested.
SV has been bad, but its hard to argue the impact that it has had on modern American culture.
I bet a product made in that area consumes about 80% of users on this site everyday activities, hell

It doesn’t reflect modern America at all
Very little national pride and national identity in Silicon Valley. The people there see themselves as global citizens
Demographics don’t reflect America
Type of economy doesn’t reflect America
Politics don’t reflect America
Wayyyyy richer and more out of touch than America as a whole

These very companies that the OP mentioned are responsible for the local housing market that basically kicks people out of their own cities and states. Most of these peeps located in these cities are liberals and yet they blame everyone else but the large liberal companies like Google and alot of those other silicon valley companies.

Adapt or don’t exist anymore.
Like Silicon Valley, another valley will rise and kick Silicon Valley out of existence in the near future, it’s just simple business cycle.

I don't think you understand what some of the words in your subject title mean.

Actually, colonial imperialism as the ultimate evil and white man bad are the staples of modern American "history" .

The Silicon Valley factories which pumped out computers and flat screens were mostly built by Louisiana educated instrument techs with contractors based in the Baton Rouge area. The engineering had mostly come from AT&T and Bell labs in upstate NY.
Most of the manufacturing processes had come from petrochemical company R&D labs looking for markets that they could sell chemicals to which had no other markets. They were developed in places like South Charleston WV, Midland, MI and Wilmington, DE.

I imagine today Silicon Valley isn’t wealthy from manufacturing. Silicon Valley is where all the IP in all your cool gadgets comes from, all the IP that supports it, and IP that no normal person would ever know or be aware of. Point being most of the stuff “manufactured” in Silicon Valley is computer code (intellectual property)
And a bunch of financial/VC bros chasing the money
