Let's not forget all of those alternative energy plants built with grant money from Chu/Obama from 2008 to 2012, that were based on Silicon Valley computer simulations which at best didn't work and worst made hazardous waste instead of anything usable. They are all dismantled and sold off/scrapped already.

Silicon Valley is still home to "pilot plant" sized manufacturing to test products and train manufacturing line engineers from the Far East.
