Since when is the letter “T” silent. Just heard someone pronounce Ba’on Rouge. Went to Benny’s Car Wash. prompt told me to press bu’on. Ever hear of Manha’on? Is this some kind of trendy language? WTF? Lowering the standards.

Don’t ever move to New England if that bothers you that much

I used to work with a girl from Massachusetts and she talked like that all the time. She was a bleeding heart Liberal, too. Would’ve bothered me but I tolerated it since she was pretty cute.
No pics since I haven’t seen her in years. No telling what she looks like now.

Listen, you've obviously never been to the ballet.
Also, pretend I made a bunch of other clever sentences using Castle, Christmas, fasten, often, whistle, thistle, bustle, hasten, soften, rapport, and gourmet.

Seems like that happens often.

Have you never heard the names Fontenot or Theriot?

Only if you hasten your speech. Just like those nerds in the wrestling threads going 90 to nothing like it’s Christmas morning.

It's called T-glottalization, and it's common in many English dialects.

Not to words intended to be silent t. I think it’s more Northern or liberal. Ha
