You’re taking him saying that he is “well spoken” and responding to it as if he said “well spoken for a black guy”. You’re the one adding race to what he said. His comment has nothing to do with race and everything to do with the fact that the guy was asked to step to the side and do an impromptu interview in a situation where staying calm and giving a well spoken coherent interview without being overwhelmed or pressured by your surroundings that could cause you to stumble over words knowing eyes are on you would be difficult for anyone. You’re taking his words and twisting them to mean what you want them to mean in order to stir shite up.

As I posted right above, this is ALWAYS said about a black person.
I would not go so far as saying it is racist, because I believe it is usually said with the best of intentions, but it absolutely is stereotyping.
