Baton Rouge is the most frustrating place I’ve ever driven. Getting anywhere at almost anytime is just such a chore. And the drivers do seem a different breed of bad. Not super fast crazy reckless bad, but a plodding unaware unintelligent bad. Things like
Slamming brakes to stop at a yellow light.
Taking an eternity to get moving when the light finally turns green.
When entering a busy road, insisting on making a crazy left turn across multiple lanes of heavy traffic instead of an easy right then U turn.

That's bitching about the city / contractor / construction company not finishing a construction job. Especially when all they have to do is put fricking lines on the new paved road but they have let it sit there for almost an entire year.

Whoever designed that shite is a moron. I was bitching about this the other day while stopped on top of the intercoastal and how it feeds onto the bridge and just the whole I-10/I=110 is designed. Its just that it wasn't designed for the traffic we have.

Same with weather. Every person who never moves from their hometown say the same things. I’ve lived in 5 states and people share the same memes for all of them

Baton Rouge traffic does suck and New Orleans roads are horrible, those are both pretty valid even having lived all over

They increased I-12 to 4 lanes on each side near where I live. No more traffic.
