How many other OTers have kids affected by the flu bug swirling through the area schools?

Dutchtown has had a number of sick kids...I'm hearing Central has as well

My kid doesn't have the flu but got sent home from daycare for having loose stools and they won't let him back tomorrow. This is the 3rd week in a row and I'm getting frustrated. I feel like they are too strict.

Brighton closed? Dyslexic kids are more prone to flu bugs?

Fun fact: the guy in that meme, Antoine Dodson, was once gay, but is now straight.

Sounds like someone doesn't feel like changing shitty diapers.

I think flu vaccine time is just starting up ND it's not like kids usually get it en masse.

Flus arent limited to the winter/late fall months. They can happen at any time. Which is why summer and early fall outbreaks suck, by the time it's called what it is it's already happened.

My one year old just got swabbed. I hope she doesn’t have the flu.

It’s definitely going around Ascension Parish. My son just got out from spending a week at the hospital with pneumonia so I’m PRAYING that he doesn’t get the flu.
