Expedition Unknown was there this season hunting mammoth bones. They said it was caused by loggers in the area exposing the permafrost that then began to melt creating the crater.
I saw that one. Removing the trees removed the shade/protection during the warmer months where the ground would still stay frozen.
Id say its more to do with this, but the earth getting warmer doesnt help either.

then I don't know what to tell you other than you're naive.
The great thing about science, it's true whether you believe it or not. Of course it's important to look for consistent, corroborated data from multiple groups, and of course question everything (which is the foundation of science).
The fact that people try to make money off of things that are better for the planet is not a bad thing, it's a great thing.

So science was true when all the scientists in the world said that the world was flat, or that the earth was the center of the solar system?

. Just funny is all, Antarctica had registered temps of 67 degrees yesterday something that hasn't happened in recorded history, but global warming is fake
We've been "recording" temperatures in Antartica for less than 1 billionth of a percent of the time there's been a temperature in Antarctica.
Your idiotic claim is just that, idiotic.

I bet this has never happened before in recorded history, and is only happening now because man is heating up the planet, right?
At least that's what they will tell us.

So did you stop reading before this part?

question everything (which is the foundation of science)
What you're implying is an approach similar to religion, which is "we're telling you this, just believe it despite any other information or logic or science that may prove otherwise".
That's evidenced by the fact that science quickly proved that the earth was round, and the sun was the center of the solar system.
Contrast that with the fact that religious people still believe that some virgin was impregnated by an all powerful being (who doesn't want us to masturbate) 2,000 years ago, and that the earth is only a couple thousand years old.

no shite. looks like a fault line running right down the middle of it.

The ridiculous lengths some people will go to to argue a losing position is entertaining to me. (I'm talking about you, not him).
You should fire back that when the earth was forming it was a couple thousand degrees in Antarctica...proof positive that there is no climate change.

Why is there no outrage and demands placed on all the countries in Asia? There is no EPA in China. And if we're going to go on the premise that man is causing global warming, and we put a shared percentage of liability on China vs the US...then this would be the ratio of shared liability of the cause of global warming (based on population):
USA (estimated 319.9 million people) 23.6% responsible
China (estimated 1.357 billion people) 76.4% responsible
ETA: the ratio obviously shrinks if you start adding Russia, countries in Europe, etc. to the list

Totally agreed. It can't just be one country doing it. China and India are huge contributors and need to be part of the solution.
And China is already on their way...

A third consecutive year of falling coal consumption and a renewable energy spending spree has made China the new global leader on climate change, some environmental groups claim.
Coal production dropped even more, and the latest figures confirm a three-year trend of declining coal use for the country's massive electricity grid.
"China has transformed itself from climate bad boy into a reluctant leader, and at the Paris climate change talks, really a true leader," said Greenpeace East Asia's spokesman Li Shuo

Ok good, I'm glad that you see where I'm going with it. So if that's the case, why has pressure been placed on just citizens of the US? Why hasn't a world team of scientists gotten together and said something? I'm not denying the notion of carbon footprint doing damage alone. But I do think that there are people who make money off that notion by exploiting it and creating regulations. When regulations come out, excessive audits are done and people get fined. The EPA makes money. Then older equipment and machinery are no longer legal due to new regulations, so new equipment and machinery has to be replaced and thus people make money off that too. It sets off a cycle of people making money off an overly exploited situation. I don't think that's "good", as you say. I think that's a bunch of twats ripping people off.
Kind of a left field analogy, but take speeding limit. You don't want people going off on a free for all driving 100 mph everywhere. And it's proven that the faster you go in a car, the more likely you are to kill yourself or others in an accident. But that still doesn't mean that Barney Fife in Redneck, USA gives a shite about that. All he cares about is that you slow down from 55 to 25 in his one horse town. And if you don't, he's gonna pull you over and make money off you. And there's a good chance that he will because he'll hide behind bushes and place a speed limit change in a spot that he knows people will fail to slow down - again because he makes money off that.
Replace Barney Fife with the EPA, and speeding with pollution - and you have the analogy.
