They play the race card but didn't one of the owners steal a ton of money from the place?

The system set it up to fail and it took 10 years to do it?

I don’t give a shite who owns a restaurant when it comes to race or ethnicity. My wife and I gave it two tries years ago and both times everything about it was awful. Bad service, shite food, and filthy inside

There’ve been issues over the years. I could be wrong, but I seem to remember that being one of them.

Looting shite
Aiming sideways into crowds
Claiming shite that ain't yours
Killing each other at ridiculous rates

Leaving your kids
Inciting violence
Vilifying productive behavior
Excuses excuses excuses
Stealing your own people's future

Murdering innocents
AIDS
Tearing apart communities
Terrible tippers
Every, single, Time
RACIST! Muh RACISM!

I put this on the FB but it works here too

So they had enough money to renovate the dining room/outdoor space and got on Restaurant impossible in April of 23 and magically started not paying rent a month later.

He also filed a lawsuit against the ABC the exact same month he stopped paying rent.

All after a co-owner was jailed for tax fraud, money laundering, etc. years prior.

All while they were receiving catering revenue for a different named company at the same address as boil and roux via the Council on Aging to feed juvenile prisoners.

quote:

According to the Mayor's office, the juvenile jail and kitchen services have had issues with staffing. They have managed to feed the juveniles through outside, satellite vendors.

Through document's we've obtained, $7,200 was paid to AYCE Catering in November and another $6,600 in December. AYCE Catering shares the same address as the Boil & Roux restaurant on Coursey Blvd
.

So they were actually paid more than their rent in separate catering services with the same building address.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is Calendar's?

That's two endorsements, so I gotta know.

Real interesting that they announce their closing right after Broome loses, huh?

10 years is a pretty good run for a business that the system “set up to fail”.

This idiot’s own success flies right in the face of his claims.

Before that site became the abomination that was Boil and Roux, it was a lovely little restaurant named Calendars.

Nothing fancy, but good. Comfort food

Nice little chain. There was another one on Perkins at Essen. At least until a disgruntled dishwasher locked several of his coworkers in the freezer and executed them all.

Nothing has made it in that location since. I think it’s cursed.

That's a story right there. What happened?
