Shows like the Bachelor/Bachelorette are such bs

What a horrible message it is sending to the girls and women that watch it. I'll probably be in the minority here with my thinking on the show, but essentially it's saying to everybody that watches it "frick being in a committed relationship, when you can have 25 dudes all at once" or "don't worry about your boyfriend cheating on you with half the city, it's alright."
There's a severe commitment problem in this country, morally depraved society we live in.
I know, "get off my lawn" etc etc.

Most people realize that's not real life and can separate entertainment from reality. You obviously are not most people.

Hell, being a contestant seems like it'd be a pretty sweet gig, too. All expenses paid vacation for a few weeks, free booze. All goes well and you are a big enough hit with the audience and you don't have to actually end up with the crazy bitch, there's a chance ABC will ask you to come back and be the Bachelor.
