My 2 month old was on the 2:30 AM kick today. Wife whipped out the boob and took care of that nonsense.

Oddly it helps with my mood and focus to get a workout in alone and then an hour alone to prepare for the day.
Does wonders, though it may not seem this way from my posts, for my mental health.

I tried that during a shutdown once. Up at 2:45a, workout until 3:45a, shower, at work by 5am, off and back by 5:30p. Sleep at 7:30.
It lasted about 2 weeks, frick all that noise.

Getting my nutrition in order and basically going strictly carnivore helped me. I was never a morning person before eliminating almost all carbs.
Used to peel myself from the mattress, now it is wide awake at whatever set time.

Same here. I work remote and 99% of my interactions are with clients on the west coast 2 hours behind. It is indescribable how much improved my life to no longer use an alarm.

Que the jokes, but I like to hit the floor running. Once my eyes open in the morning I am ready to go and I list to do all of my people interaction in the morning. Then around lunch I start to crash. After lunch, I don't have the same energy and just want to be alone to get shite down.
Then by 2:30-3 I get a second wind. I wish our bodies didn't require sleep, but since sleep is important I try to be in bed for 10ish and be asleep by 11ish.. But it all depends on of I feel like I need more sleep or don't need as much.
As for as the question. Why shouldn't you get up at 4AM? I guess it depends on if your body needs more sleep or not.
