West Monroe is a little less of a shithole. North Monroe towards Sterlington is nice.

There is zero "old money" in Monroe outside of the Biedenhorn's. There are a lot of people who think they have money in Monroe, but don't realize that just because your new house is on a slab, that doesn't make you wealthy. Now Ruston has OLD MONEY.
