Kyb strut broke on Jackson streets. The pair is only two years old. Should I replace both or the broken one?

If you’re financially able, change both. I’d give the same advice for tires, rotors, ball joints, etc. I worked in auto parts for years and I can’t tell you how many times I saw someone replace one thing in a “set” only to have to come in a few weeks later and get the other side done.

I'd move this to the OD board. I would replace both.

Tell the dealership to check the timing belt cover for leaks while they are in there.

Did you hit something? Struts should last longer than 2 years.

If the strut broke, it may be the wrong model/part for your car.
I'd replace both.

on struts/shocks replacements the options are: Fronts / Rears / All 4. Next time ask your husband he will tell you this as its common knowledge. Since you axed the OT; If fronts YES you have to align it too

That’s what you get for not regularly checking your strut fluid levels.

Have you seen the price of that shite lately? Hell, I've started cutting mine with Bud Light just to stretch a dollar.
