So that's clearly a yes that you're intentionally missing the point.

i think it had more to do with the mongol hoard showing up than anything. set them back culturally and made them a lot more insular which is how things got where they got.

Sorry, not knowing that we use only two number systems in this country makes people appear dumb.
We are only taught
Roman numerals, as they are used in writing extensively and Arabic numerals.
Denying they should BE TAUGHT only points out an anti-Islamic sentiment. (See Supermoto, page 2)

Because I don't think not knowing something trivial makes someone stupid. And the attempt to label someone as a bigot for not knowing something trivial is quite a leap.
I've got 6 people that work at my company, 3 with college degrees and 3 without. I wouldn't be shocked if the only one that knows we use Arabic numerals is the dumbest guy in the shop.

When you say no to the question in the poll solely because it says Arabic while not knowing what Arabic numerals are, you are dumb and bigoted. If you don't know what something is and default to "oh no Muslim bad" you are dumb and bigoted.
How is that hard for you to understand? It's an insanely simple concept and the fact that you've gone on and on for pages arguing otherwise is frightening. Especially when you question the intellect of others.

As I've said, this comparison is meaningless. Arabic numerals are what we all use everyday. Chinese are not. They should not be expected to be familiar with what Chinese numerals are like they should with the ones they use everyday.
