For those who don't know anything about guns, you would want to be shot with range ammo if you had your choice. The bullets hold together much more and have a better chance of a clean pass thru. Many times when you hear of a person surviving a gunshot wound, they were shot with ball-ammo.

If he had ballistic tips or something similar, the wound would be atroscious, especially considering it sound like it made solid contact with one of the most dense bones in the body

I simply do not understand our country's sick gun culture. Going to bed and praying for Congressman Scalise, who did not deserve this. The reports are very concerning. We have a big problem, folks. I support your right to play soldier. Really, I do. Can we discuss reasonable measures to stop the daily carnage? Is this really what we want, or at least are willing to accept?
