There was a police briefing a while ago with the Alexandria PD chief and the chief of the Capitol Police. I believe there's a more formal presser set for later today around noon maybe? The police briefing earlier really didn't give any new information over what is being reported by the media, and they did not take questions.
ETA: Guy on NBC News just said they may be having a presser in about 15-20 minutes.

My point is that whether the person is a "democrat" or "republican", no sane individual unloads several rounds on a group of people. Trying to cast blame on one particular ideology is just pathetic and it's ironic that people on here get furious at dems for politicizing shootings when they quite literally do the same exact thing.
