This and the fact that you can't even leave your guitar in a public restroom for 15 hours without someone walking off with it.

All BR needs to do is tear down some of those racist buildings around town and this type of shite wouldn't happen.

Am I doing this right?

This is a depressing story. Good lord.

Whether you like Sullivan's or not, at least they provide a nice dining environment and solid wine list. I like Ringside for live music as well. What's your grievance with it?

Sullivan's, Click's, Hooters, Lock & Key, the Melting Pot. I would hardly call it abysmal.
i would..this and the waffle house shooting a few weeks back and people were like "oh it's a good area". does not matter...it is an easy target for lowlifes that frequent the valley park area, which is bad i don't care what anyone says.God bless this dudes family that have to endure this during the holidays.

I agree. Simply put, definitely not a good area of town.

Really surprised no one here has stepped and said they know George or the family.

Because it's "cool" to be a contrarian.

I was calling him George, Jr. in earlier posts, but he went by Kees Reusch.

I've never thought of the Corporate Drive area dangerous, particularly not at 7:00 p.m. when the shooting happened.

I've been to Clicks, Sullivan's Ringside, Fox and Hound, Firehouse Subs, the Marriott, Jason's Deli, Hooter's, The Pelican House and other establishments in the area at all times of the day and night.

Not once have I thought of this area abysmal or unsafe.

If the murder was an attempted carjacking of a BRAND NEW CAR as the parents' thought it might be, then it could happen anywhere at any time, not just in the parking lot closest to Hooter's.

Well, would you exactly call it safe?

I mean, ok, it's not Central City in NOLA, but it's certainly not a safe area either. You realize Bawell and that neighborhood across the street isn't a desirable one.
