it's weird how you never really consider that cops might be suffering from PTSD like soldiers do. I would be scarred for life if I was at that place. They have some sick people in this world.

ow is it we can protect chemical and nuclear plants, airports and Fortune 500 co HQs but not schools?
Secure the perimeters
This seems to be a question a lot of people are asking.
1. Money, campuses are huge, most towns have multiple schools. The amount of trained quality guards needed across the country would be staggering.
2. Quality, you need top tier people, but with the volume of what you’re hiring across the country, you wouldn’t be able to get that.
3. Willingness, in 3 months will short attention span people be willing to put up with security requirements? Have you ever heard of TSA? They’ve done a pretty decent job, yet people complain all they can, and flying is a minimal part in most people’s daily lives

Just depends on how you associate ptsd, traumatic stress disorder, irs not specific to any certain action or event, car accidents etc, all can lead to ptsd

ow, you’re a grade A idiot. Our kids are the future leaders of this country . We , as adults are failing to protect them .
And by and large they are all safe. Every day. In every school. This is an anomaly. A one-off. A tragedy nonetheless, but not the norm.
Quit being a drama queen and get a grip on what’s happening. “The children” are in more danger getting in a car or on a school bus then sitting in class. They’re more at risk of a poor education than being shot. You have zero perspective and would rather emote than look at this realistically.
And that’s fine if you choose to do so. But don’t blame society because one a-hole did something awful.

What time is the shooters court date today?
Posted on 2/15/18 at 6:50 am to tigerinthebueche
Don’t compare accidents to incidents. Accidents happen, it’s part of life but this type of incident maybe could have been avoidable if they were more security at the school. How I see it is if these shooters know for a fact that they will be getting shot at also it may make them think twice about it.

Jesus there were at least 5-8 bodies in that video. In the classroom in the beginning, is there a body slouched over in a desk?
Very tough video to watch. The classroom appeared to be very close to the exit so the shooter didn't have to go far.
You also see a student lean over quickly to grab a quick photo of one of the bodies. It is always crazy to see how people react to these situations and how wired today's youth is to instinctively record everything.

That is one of the problems. The next shooter is getting ideas from this.
Just think how many people on here have viewed that. Now think of all the kids on their cell phones, tablets and computers that have seen that.
The internet is a blessing and a curse. I said it yesterday, school shootings started happening around the time of the internet being easily accessible in homes.

I'd say that we as a country need to see that. We need to quit sheltering ourselves from these and finally face it.
Maybe we can start having an honest debate on this matter then.
ETA: and one could also make the claim that these shootings started ramping up with the proliferation of gotcha politics and the pure hatred people have for those with differing views. When you label everyone who disagrees as the "enemy", don't be surprised when others take it too literally.

I wish Fox News would stop putting FL Sen. Bill Nelson on TV. He’s just there for politics. Seems to think that the only guns people need are those for hunting.

What does my post count have to correlate to my statement?
It's clearly something I'm willing to give up.
For you to draw that conclusion is very low IQ.

So you're willing to give up the internet but not the AR-15?

They just showed Cruz be walked into court.
He’s still wearing hospital gown. He seemed pretty emotionless.

That's all he's going to be wearing for awhile. He probably won't be allowed to have show strings again.

Another low IQ post.
I didn't realize that social media made up 100% of the internet.

The poliboard is a shithole.
Presidio literally just said it was a shame a teenage girl who was at the school didn't die bc she told the President that thoughts and prayers weren't what was needed on Twitter.
This is part of the problem and why constructive debate can never happen

Would be nice if the judge issued the death sentence on the spot to be carried out immediately.
