bullshite.

In these cases, the vast majority (and I mean vast) are persons with existing mental health issues who either use an illegal gun, or steal one from someone who purchased it legally. One is already an illegal act that no gun control could ever stop, and the other cannot be prevented by even the strictest gun control measure.

But, if you propose institutionalization for the mentally ill, well frick that...that's a violation of their constitutional rights. Well, what in the Hell do you think the right to bear arms is? "Common sense" loony control means you need to keep their asses locked up.

I have a theory:

Would the US actually being one of the most, if not THE MOST diverse countries in the world be the leading cause for these issues?

I am nut sure human beings are truly wired to get along with people not alike with them

We've been diverse for a long time. Diversity isn't some recent phenomenon.

It was pretty impeccable use of the language, sans the lack of a period.

what does this even mean to you? This line gets regurgitated every time without any elaboration.

It means providing adequate mental health care for people that need it, not treating them until their insurance runs out or writing anti-depressant scripts until they go away.

But this thread is not the appropriate place to get into this. We'll save this for another time.

And I am fairly certain we gave had these types of mass killings for a long time, it is incorrect that these are new or more frequent

Yes, let's throw politics into equation while students haven't even seen parents yet/parents heard from their children.

To be fair, when is the right time to talk about it?

This is like the 13th school shooting in 2018 already. Most aren't mass shootings, but it is a pretty regular occurrence in this country.

Ban guns?

Certain drugs are illegal/banned and yet they are still in every corner of america.

Still won;t stop crazy people from obtaining weapons and harming people
