The savages always seem to attack when it's women at home alone over there.

Still, what he said is true. And it's a damn shame because there are some beautiful historic homes over there, but I wouldn't live over there without about $70K worth of security systems set up and enough guns and ammo to stage a minor coup.

You gotta be a special kind of pussy to rob and shoot a woman. This piece of shite needs to be beaten to death.

I mean a guy was killed in the Olive Garden parking lot on Siegen. And I know people in UClub that have had their homes/vehicles burglarized.

Don't take this as my head in the sand about what occurs in Garden district/mid city, but to let your guard down elsewhere is just ignorant.

Heard the shots. Two. Again. Wtf. Talked with my cop buddy about this. (He is off duty tonight) said that they will probably have the perp in custody by morning. They pretty much know who it is.

This will be like finding a needle in the haystack. There are over 13 of these for sale in a 300 mile radius. I'm not optimistic.

I'd be willing to bet this guy is known to BRPD, has a record, and his vehicle is "in the system" with an address in 70802 or 70805. They'll find him.

Good news is they don't play around with crime south of Florida.

There have been multiple of these incidents in that area recently. I'm sure they've been closing in on it

Suspect is in a gold ford tarus. Matches the description of the vehicle from last week too.

Thanks for update. The gal is a friend/neighbor of my gf's little sister. Shook her up pretty bad. Not surprising they ended up shooting someone. They need to be killed. I mean Stopped.

I love how the Advocate reports it: "Half a mile from Catholic High!" Like that area is supposed to be nice and safe. Government St. has been shitty for the past 30 years

That area is very nice and safe. A good bit of property crime and very little violent crime. That's why this is big news.

It's more like a block from CHS not a half a mile. But I don't expect the advocate to strive for accuracy anymore.

When I lived on Arlington I loved it but I knew the area was crap nearby.

One evening I was taking shopping bags out of my trunk and walked into my duplex. I heard my door crack open from being kicked and my dog went ape and I never saw the guy.

Neighbors should create some bait cars where there are piles of fake money and Christmas presents in plain site on the seats...wait until they break in and then detonate a bomb.

It seems the robbers were doing a similar routine every night looking for a vulnerable female leaving a residence after dark. frickers.
