An assault rifle was more than likely not used in this situation. Where do y'all keep coming up with assault rifle? He didn't purchase an AR-15 assault rifle.

I said assault weapons are used in almost every mass shooting in the US and they are, in fact I can't think of any where one wasn't used.

Only if you are using some non-standard definition of mass shooting and are defining assault weapon as any semi-automatic weapon with a detachable magazine (i.e. anything from a Beretta .25 to a Barrett .50).

He couldn't accept his homosexuality and so he turned his angered toward those he saw as the reason for his feelings. Even though he went for 3 years. That is why you see the different marine, cop, terrorist organization literature and stickers. He grasped o to the masculine icons he thought could cover up his feelings. They didn't. If only he he had sought out professional help. He had a full blown meltdown and it got 50+ killed. RIP to the victims.

Yeah but those handguns don't allow someone to go into a public place and commit mass murder. If only a handgun was involved in the Sandy Hook shooting then the shooter would not have been able to take out 20+ plus kids with no problem.
Look, people should have the right to own guns, but what is the reason for someone to have an AR-15? If people like shooting them then have them available at shooting ranges, etc but why make a gun that can cause as much destruction as this gun, easily available for people to buy?

Completely false. You can have a couple of handguns, and a backpack full of extended magazines that are loaded, and kill WAAAAAYYYYYY more than 20 kids with no problems. Not sure where you are getting your info.
