i was still a liberal when the watch list first became a major issue. it was decried by liberals as a terrible, unilateral process that had no due process rights.

this was a MAJOR story and had tons of talking points. liberals were terrified of the implications of this procedure

But let's just go out on a limb and ask "Do you really trust the government to control who has access to guns?".
Think about it what happens each time the other party gains control of the WH and Congress. All the sudden, people who are "affiliated" with a "government watchdog" group could be added to a list.
Don't think it can happen? Study the 1950's and communism.

I think they were just trying to let people know what type of club it was, and it appears that there was a motive behind him killing gays. Just a really really sad situation.

I want to live in a country where rational responsible people have the freedom to own AR-15's. I don't want to live in a country with a bunch of radical muslims on watch lists that causes the government to infringe on the rest of our rights. Get rid of the Muslims and keep the freedom. Why are you so obsessed in making everyone believe this guy was an 'insider' type shite?
He was well armed. He had a shite ton of bullets. He actually opened fire outside the club, was engaged by the one officer there. He fled inside, then realized he wasn't getting away. He then started killing like he knew he had no escape.
Please just stop with the inside job shite.
Oh, and it's pretty classless at this point to paint a picture of yourself running down the middle of a parade route shooting people with a gun in each hand. The frick is wrong with you?

It's something wrong with the cops tactics, if 30 people are killed by a gunfire from a single shooter, while the cops are outside preparing.
