It isn't just that. Even the better news sources for stuff like this all have drastically different info. That report of five dead and two shooters by the Orlando station seems to have dickered everything after that point.
Maybe things will be cleared up with a press conference scheduled in a bit (supposedly at 4pm).

CBS reporting 6 injured, one in critical. No mention of any deaths in their report. They mentioned that the shooter is in custody after being shot by police. Not sure if the shooter is counted as one of the 6 reported injuries or not.

Was on campus getting ready to run an event this weekend. Thankfully I wasn't near where it happened. Lots of rumors swirling around that he was a child of an Leon County Sherriff Officer.

The video at the bottom was the police bringing the chains to the ambulance to restrain the shooter inside it.
