Congrats on having a gun mfr con you out of your money. fricking sheep.
Actually I'm in the outdoor media and have a ton of connections formed through NSSF/the SHOT Show with those manufacturers (very close with Ruger, Taurus, and Vista's outdoors divisions.) In fact we usually try almost all of the newest guns during the week at SHOT. (My personal favorite was a 12ga fully auto shotgun with a 25 round drum that was later modified to be a semi-auto.) If you didn't have your head up your arse you'd likely know prices for Ruger's AR style guns are in line with their shotguns. MSRP has not changed over the past year. You'd also know that it's no secret gun sales dwindle when the 2A is safe with the GOP holding either the WH, House, or Senate. When they don't and you have an unpredictable guy like Roberts on SCOTUS, people are going to stockpile.

The government is going to transform a lot of law abiding owners into felons if Biden and Mark Kelly somehow get their whacko NFA modifications through. With Manchin blocking a vote to change filibuster rules (especially for gun control) there's no way anything besides what's been announced can be done whether unilaterally or by law. Any attempt by him will likely rocket up the court system and I don't think Biden wants to chance a SCOTUS ruling further protecting the 2A. It's also something that could push Manchin to being an Independent caucusing with the GOP. Manchin is also likely to sink the gun grabbing ATF nomination made by Biden.

Again if you didn't have your head up your arse you'd know there's only a handful of gun companies who depend on AR sales (and even those companies have moved into handgun manufacturing so they'd scaledown to survive until the EO/law was overturned.) You'd also know before Corona became a thing last year ammo was becoming increasingly hard to find. I was at the range when our governor announced the lockdowns and I immediately stopped shooting to preserve ammo. A week later the shelves were empty (as expected.)

Chris Rock had two great bits that speak truths to a couple of issues. There's the well known "black people vs N___)" bit and then there's the gun vs bullet control.

Bullets fired by people kill others, not the gun. The gun control argument has gotten ridiculous. More people die from drunk driving than guns. The car didn't do it. If you want gun manufacturers to lose liability protection then every person ever harmed by a drunk driver should be suing the car companies. You won't get any argument from most that people need to be responsible with their guns. Keep them locked up but also have talks with your kids about them...let them shoot them...take the thrill of "forbidden fruit" away from them (we've also done this with alcohol.) As long as laws are also put in place to prevent the retention of passed background checks (a de facto registry) I don't think many would argue against universal checks for all guns.

And with that a peace offering to those triggered.

Damn, worker interviewed said one dude went to his car to get his gun to try to stop the shooter but got shot and killed.
His family ought to sue FEDEX over their policy to not allow concealed carry. People have talked about this happening for years and now there's a real world event that fits it. That guy is a hero for at least trying.

I thought this was common sense. My apologies for drilling down on the reply to my initial post for the sake of covering it in multiple ways.

They are stupid...... the media is a clown show these days. They are all scared to say the wrong thing.... so instead they give in and try to push all the right buttons. I happened to wake up at like 3 in the morning the other day and was surfing channels and ended up on CNN. Don Lemon was on... this dude is a total joke.... I’m surprised he is not on during prime time....

Allowing employees to conceal carry increases the employer's legal liability and in some cases (I know mine) greatly increases liability insurance premiums if I don't prohibit them. Some insurances might not even cover you if you allow it. There's also OSHA stuff you have to worry about with allowing employees to carry. Employers are stuck between a rock and a hard place on the issue. State law says I have to allow employees to keep guns locked in their trunk, glove box, or special gun box, so I do, but my official policy in the office/factory/job sites is no guns for the reasons mentioned above. That said, if someone is carrying a concealed weapon, then it's concealed and I have no way of knowing it, and I'm not going to pat everyone down every day, wink wink.

You caught the replay. Cooper-Cuomo-Lemon. Lemon makes Van Jones sound like a moderate.

Was he on a watchlist, too? Did he pass a FBI background check before he bought an AR, too?
