I don’t know if you’re trying to be funny here, but, you sure showed yourself to be ignorant of exactly what He did achieve. Be better.

Let’s explore my ignorance. Sit down. This may take a while. I am saturated with it.
2025 yrs later…I ask myself, why is 70% of Earth’s population not Christian?
Man’s fault? God/Jesus’ fault? Or perhaps Jesus was just not intended for all of the world to start with?
What say you?
I say:
Most humans live where Christianity was not historically dominant. Religion follows birth, culture, and demographics. God put Jesus in a place, and consequently not other places. At a time when spreading message was dependent on spots of donkey, translation of many languages, years and years of passed down comms, etc. and Population growth favors non-Christian regions.
My conclusion, Jesus was intended only for this proximity and limitation. After all, God is all knowing.
Or, God might should just fix this…
Heart wrenching Shootings at parades, schools, across and between religious lands, sovereign nations and all in between…not a good look for the good book.

These assholes need to keep that shite to after hours ghetto corners. Doing that with families and kids around is a travesty.
Years ago, way before the Consent Decree, there used to be a block uptown where all the NOPD families went. I was invited a couple of times. Bunch of NOPD uniforms at each end of the block. Drunks and undesirables were kindly instructed to go a

Oh just wonderful..
More negative attention was just given to Louisiana thanks to a certain group of people that seem to flourish in our state.
Fox News just ran the story of the Clinton Mardi Gras Parade shooting

Who wants to bet that the shooter has a RAP sheet with several violent charges that were never prosecuted or he got a sweet plea deal for little to no time in prison,

As long as they shoot each other, I don’t give one flying frick.
And the reality is no one does either.

1st. John3:16- For God so loved the “world”, that He gave His only begotten Son that whosever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Yeah, He came got he the Whole world, not a certain area as you suggest.
2nd. God, when He created man, instantly gave man a free will to choose who he would follow. He gave him a choice. Why you ask? Because He wanted man to fellowship with Him on his own. Not out of requirement.
Mankind in general have chosen not to have that fellowship with a loving God. That’s not Gods fault. You have an enemy that hates your very being and wants to destroy you. That being Satan.
3rd. It’s easy to blame God for everything that’s going on, but, again scripture says that Satan goes about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. He comes to kill, steal, and destroy. Why in your post did you never blame him? You believe in God, because you wonder why He doesn’t intervene in all the misery in the world. Well, He did. His name is Jesus. He didn’t come to take over the world, but to change hearts. Like the Roman centurion, and the jailer who kept guard over Paul and Silas. And how about Paul, who thinking he was doing great work for his “church”, by killing and beating Christians, had a meeting with the Lord on the Damascus road.
I’ve seen too many lives that were in shambles, come to give their lives to Jesus, and seen great things happen in their lives as well as their family members.
So, yeah, I Believe.

Appreciate your thoughtful post!
My true, honest response. I retire tmr. I have now traveled the world for 30 yrs. Big earl. All corners. Like most of them. Opened my eyes. Wide.
Juxtaposed with my personal context. I was born in small, insular world. US, South, very insular place. Started this journey with a dogma dictated to me. Influential years. Often and impactful. Believe this. The end.
I strongly believe this is where the problems begin. For most. Me included.
Now, looking back and against when I reflect across all the flavors and contexts of the many people I have gotten to know very well across the world, many smart, good people. All from different places, histories, contexts, etc. All continents, many countries, at the 1:1 level…not groups, politics, us vs them context. Truthfully, religions, so powerfully inserted into the human experience, is never completely removed / independent.
Some received big dose of Jesus, others a medium dose, and even others w/nil dose, if at all. Replaced by their own context, history, religious / philosophical bases.
What I was taught / told in my insular upbringing, as contrasted with my heart to heart engagements with this wide range of people across the world…just did not reconcile. At all.
How can that be? Same contemporary years, same humanity, same Earth!
No need to answer. Personal context, history, family structure and principals wins the day. Moreso than John 3:16.
If it were as simple as John 3:16, we are not having this discussion. Just not.
It is not about seeking the answers. My conclusion: It is about seeking the right question(s).
The right question(s). Not what we we were taught / told during our most influential development periods of our lives. Dependency of thought removed, clarity of thought becomes clear.
How can Christianity be so inefficiently spread over the world if John 3:16? I mean for real. This is God we are talking about, after all.
Free will is a convenient answer. Why do I use “convenient”?
The belief that humanity inherits a fallen nature because of Adam and Eve’s disobedience. As if Humans are born inclined toward sin, not morally neutral. Sin is inherited, not just chosen.Humans are spiritually damaged from birth. Divine grace is necessary for salvation.Moral weakness is built in.
Salvation depends more on God’s action than human action
Appears free will be damned - the belief that humans can freely choose between good and evil.
It is truly hard for me to believe in any religion. There is just too much man / political context.
All to say, when we see past John 3:16, we see broader and with much more clarity.
I hope. Sincerely.
Because I am getting tired of trying to comprehend man-made religion that reconciles the unreconcilable. We need real questions. Not unreconcilable questions. Please. No more.
New way forward.

And the prisons are too damn soft than what they used to be. Make it really shitty enough that they are extremely hesitant to commit a crime.

I read somewhere that the child was pronounced dead last night.
No doubt BLM will start a go fund me page for the victims of this latest round of violence.
In fact, they have. I looked it up, Below is the link:

Well you kinda have to do what the book says. You know, like follow the instructions and all….
Maybe if 100% of the people would start with the basics. Let’s call it the “Ten Commandments”
Oh look….thou shalt NOT KILL how about that one.
