Crime could be suppressed if we truly quit worrying about road-widening over the next century and a half and paid a police commissioner well and his men and women a DECENT salary above 50k, we might see BR of at least 2010. I would think that in a city with a majority black population, especially where the vast majority of poor are black, it would be a black shooter. If it were a majority white city, where most of the poor people were white, I would guess it was a white shooter.

Majority of murders/manslaughters(non-negligent) being committed by blacks is probably better reasoning.

2019 - 51.2%
2018 - 53.3%
2017 - 53.1%
2016 - 52.6%
2015 - 51.1%

FBI seems to have stopped updating same website for uniform crime reporting that I have used in past that made comparisons easier. I will have to check their newer Crime Data Explorer for anything after 2019 using a better browser later as it’s a different format and same race info on arrests not as easy to find (actually several things harder to find at least on mobile along with never using it before now).

That’s b/c they are selling E10 which is cheaper than unleaded. It’s keeping his car count up getting people in to buy things encouraging
people to sign up for their wash club to get the discount,
all while still making a few Pennie’s on the gas they are selling.

It’s marketing genius .

Update:
quote:

The BRPD said Eackles and the 19-year-old shooter, Kamayrion Glasper, saw each other while they were both at the car wash vacuums and began to exchange gunfire. During the shootout, Glasper shot and killed Eackles, while an unidentified passenger in Eackles' vehicle shot and injured Glasper.

Police believe the shooting was caused by a prior dispute between the gunman and the victim.

Go to Rouge Mart then and enjoy paying that much or more above market rates.

Old man Vic is living large off his gas prices at la rouge mart. Consistently .40 more than average gas price. He's gotta be over $5.

Store in Springfield was at $5.09 yesterday

What a great way to spend the rest of your life without parole at Angola once convicted of 2nd degree murder, when the DA has video evidence and eye witness testimony proving Glasper was the killer. All over some hood beef.

The Feds are the biggest part of the problem. People keep pointing at local law enforcement, the judges & DAs. Well they have their hands tied. The majority of the people with multiple murders under their belts & who keep getting those charges dropped are actual federal informants.

Local law enforcement can make arrests all day long & the prosecutor's offices can want to go to trial all they want to but when 5K1's are signed & the Feds are notified about an arrest, the locals are told to stand down if that informant is supplying them with valuable information. There's just as many rats out there as killers nowadays & those rat walk around like they are invincible because they know they will get immunity.

The Prosecution will have to prove premeditation. They’ll look at cell phone records, social media, IP address locations ect ect to see if premeditation occurred and can be proven. Even if the DA charges this thug with 1st degree murder, it’s almost certain that the death penalty would be off the table. The only available sentence for 1st degree murder would be the same as 2nd degree murder in Louisiana, which is life without parole upon conviction, when the death penalty is taken off the table. It’s a question of the path of least resistance that would ultimately lead to a conviction for the Prosecutor.
