Police arrested a student suspect and detained a second person, Santa Fe school officials confirmed.
The dead are expected to include students and staff, according to a senior law enforcement official who was not authorized to speak about the investigation.

Apparently a student called some news station during The lockdown and said a student brought a shotgun to the campus.

Santa Fe high school in Texas I believe. 4 down including officer. My understanding is it’s still going on and it’s a fluid situation. I downloaded the police scanner on my iPhone and am listening to it

Bomb unit is trying to get into the school from the back, but theres a "John Deere or Gator" parked blocking one of the doors. Apparently there are too many cop cars and they cant get other vehicles/equipment down to the school. One officer standing near a "suspicious" package -granted, every backpack that was dropped when a student took off running will have to be searched.
