Go to Baton Rouge Packing and Shipping on Coursey next to the Fire Station. They can provide all options that are available and will give you the best method. They are experts in shipping anything, and have nothing in common with places like the UPS store. Have used them to ship high dollar and difficult to ship items for years.

These people saying Saia don't know what they are talking about. Saia doesn't go direct. That would be an interline service which will cost even more. Freightline such as Fedex freight, UPS freight, Conway etc.

If you go with UPS be careful. I once shipped 3 large boxes and my measurements and weights were either exact or a little large just in case.

I got a bid from them online and shipped the stuff. They contacted me after it had shipped and wanted to charge me basically double what the original quote was.

One of my boxes was 70 pounds. They said after it was shipped that the "dimensional weight" was 310 pounds and that's they had revised the charge for shipping. Apparently the "dimensional weight" is a thing that UPS invented to screw their customers. I told them they entered into a business arrangement with me to ship a box that actually weighed 70 pounds when they quoted the price. The box ACTUALLY weighed 70 pounds and they had already been paid. I said they wouldn't get another nickel from me in a million years no matter what they did. They stuck with the original price after that.

Checked BR pack and shipping

Rough quote of $200 shipped to business address. I had $100 shipping adder in my listing, so I am fine eating that extra $100.

Still making a good chunk of change on the sale
