Cucked Euro O&G firms leaned in to the green energy sector a bit too much creating and beefing up entire divisions. Other than lithium, all the green initiatives seem to be net losers.

Their Louisiana sites are Geismar and Norco, not sure what your response means.

Maybe a joke. Norco got its name from the New Orleans Refining Company. Shell took it over like 100 years ago. Maybe he's referencing a company that hasn't existed for almost as long as anybody has been alive.

They’ve also apparently got their main Houston office, along the Energy Corridor, listed for sale; though they want to lease back half of it from the potential buyer.
One of the hosts of Oil & Gas This Week podcast has been saying for a couple years he things Shell could eventually opt to move its headquarters to Houston, or at least to Texas, given the very strong anti-fossil fuel sentiments in the UK. Of course moves to downsize its Houston footprint would seem to cast doubt on such speculation.

Not sure I remember it right, but they downsized in One Shell Square years back and are now building their own place in New Orleans.
I try to listen to this but the commentary can be too much sometimes.

They are. It is downtown, right on the river by the bridge
