Shell station on Clearview and West Metairie robbed, Money and Kools

When he started to open the door, the gunman pushed his way inside and robbed the business, stealing cash and at least two dozen packs of Kool cigarettes.

Yep. That's the place. It use to be my go to spot to fill up until they started doing that. The credit card price is usually about 30 cents/gal higher than the average price in the area.

Takes Winn-Dixie reward cards, but ends up being the same price as everywhere else. Guy can go take a leap.

I didn't know that, I pretty much only use Exxon.
I did hear people complaining of Credit Card only prices, but I only see that at Truck stops.

Damn! I live in the neighborhood behind this place. I'm always going their for a quick snack or something. I never buy gas though because of the credit card trick they play with you. Kinda brave to rob this place with 2 doughnut shops across the street, cops are always at Tastees and thats not a joke, lol.

I get gas there all the time. It's like 2 blocks cold from my grandparents house. Always some sketchy people there

Metairie's ghetto is not too far from there. Clearview to Cleary from the I-10 to West Napoleon is pretty sketchy, full of cheap apartments and section 8 rentals.
