Sharing memes with wife

99% of the time we are lock step with life and kids, but when I send her a random meme she always over analyzes it.
I say no, it doesn’t pertain to us or me or you, it’s just funny.
Good lord women.
And yes, I know women struggle with humor, but sometimes things are funny in and of themselves

Their humor is just different. Whatever I think is funny to me, it's not funny to her, and vice versa.

This. And it is a drastic difference. The only thing that is agreed upon is funny dog videos and funny fart videos.

I agree to some extent, but she laughs at my “at home” comedy routine all the time. She thinks I’m funny…

My wife and I shared the memes/videos we've saved throughout the day every night. Typically we both find each others videos funny.
We have a very similar sense of humor, though. She's a big fan of Louis CK, Gillis, etc.

I've narrowed into what my wife would think was funny vs what my dumb arse thinks is funny. The latter goes to the two friends I send memes to on the reg. Everyone has those two friends.

We have three other couples that we travel with quite often. On one of our trips several years back, I pissed my wife off about something and her being pissed off pissed me off. Well, I proceeded to announce to her in front of the whole group, “I can promise you that my next wife will have a sense of humor!” Would you believe that she didn’t think that was a bit funny?

I was watching the Naked Gun movies yesterday and showing her parts of them (first two). I was cracking up and she was telling me how stupid they were.
