Yes, people need to realize Jews were doing stuff like this also, and some early Christians as well. They were having sex with their slaves and it wasn’t seen as adultery because slaves weren’t seen as sub human.

I heard this when I did a stint in Turkey, but whatever rule they have is pretty crazy.
Supposedly if a man commits a crime ( not sure if limited in nature) he can send his wife to jail in his place.
While in jail she will probably be used as a prostitute, the proceeds of which go to the court and a partial amount to the husband.
