I’ve heard that Pepitos despite its popularity is not doing well financially. Probably mismanagement somewhere along the way. Most likely the reason for the partner dispute between them.

I don't know the exact details but Shane owns that building. He became business partners with both Ono's and Pepitos while also leasing the building to the restaurants. Both disputes are related to Shane screwing his partners over financially. Specifics I don't have but this comes from someone who has worked for both of them.

The love for Pepito is so over blown by the white women that use to see him at Superior in Shreveport and think they became best friends with him.
The Pepitos Mexican restaurant was over rated as hell. Nice building though but bad location.
My Facebook is cringe as hell seeing everyone knight for one another.

I mean people only went there for the name and to see Pepito. Nothing really separates the place from the other million Mexican restaurants in Shreveport / Bossier.

I know someone in the restaurant business from Shreveport. Doesn’t have anything bad to say about anyone in the business except Shane. Said he made his money screwing people and the government, selling food after Katrina, and that he is shady AF.
