It's on the parish tax assessment rolls with a value of 5.2M. Looks like he's been stiffing the parish.

Between this and Jessica Brandt kicking out her family, about to be some turnover in Old Metairie!

I would say it's more just new money trying to give a finger to old money. I don't think the Guidry's are really "trying to be old money."

And for the record, I'm not trying to assign greater value to one approach over the other.

Not sure if I'd call him new money....but the company was started 70 years ago by his grandfather. He has definitely taken it to a different level...but they arent new to the money game
