Can yall shut the frick up with the severe weather threads.

This isn’t going to impact south Louisiana at all. Some Karens are going to get all scared and cancel everything.

It’s really getting old. How many times are you going to cry wolf?

Hey

Go frick yourself.

A) this site is basically national now. There’s several posters here that live in the area affected tonight.

B) this thread is hurting no one.

Of all the things to melt about its a thread about severe weather. Dude, its a posting board. Posting boards make money if people post in them. Yet here you telling posters not to post. Seen a lot of that on many boards here.

Take it up with Chicken. As much as weather affects lives and is always a topic every day somewhere, I wish there was a weather board. But there is not and its customary its posted in OT lounge.

How hard is it to bypass thread? Yet you wrote out a few paragraphs.

And to be fair the thread was making fun of a weather picture. I added the severe weather to it “instead” of creating an extra thread. Tried to piggyback and make it all in one thread.

And you are sky screaming about weather thread. You are one yelling at clouds, the rest are warning of weather events.

Grow up

My intentions were to be a severe weather thread i had started creating the thread, then saw the graphic and rolled my eyes.
Someone at the NWS has a good sense of humor. Obviously

Locally we had severe prolonged winds all day a week ago. Just in my neighborhood it took off shingles on about 30% of houses. No storms at all just sustained hurricane like winds all day (and fires too).

Now we have to survive hail and severe weather season. Most just patched up the missing shingles, all houses are less than 10 years old, so nothing old. I would bet some get leaks and might have compromised shingles.

Hoping yours survives the bad weather season.

They definitely blew it canceling stuff in Nola. It rained overnight and not a drop during the day.
