36 warnings on RadarScope. Wow.

His stream was so bad that I gave up. I thought it was just the platform on the radar app, but it was the same on YouTube.

Radar Omega includes everything from Tornado to Special Weather Statements to Blizzards. It has 99 right now.

And now the flash flooding risk starts to kick in for SELA.

There have been some prolific rainers today.

As this sags south into the high moisture content of the near gulf coast, should see some prolific rainfall rates.
Im gonna get a text about 1 am from the city saying its cool to park in the neutral ground.

Stay safe lady.
We’re good. Touched down just on the other side of our neighborhood but damage was minor (considering). At one point the windows were rattling and I couldn’t see about 10 ft into the yard due to the rain.
Thankfully no damage to our place. SO’s parents a couple blocks over had a neighbor’s tree come down that just missed their house.

Great to hear! Did you have hail?
Posted on 4/13/22 at 8:58 pm to footswitch
If we did it wasn’t much.

Curious how this isn't catching a severe warning.
And yes, I did purposefully find a 69 mph pixel to screencap.

Glad you're safe.
Louisville got some action tonight for sure.

NWS Jackson is determined to keep this tornado warning going south of Columbus, despite very little rotation. NWS Birmingham, on the other hand, will have to see a major uptick in activity to consider issuing a tornado warning for it.

Yeah, Jackson has a severe warning up for a part of Mississippi next to that area I screenshot'd and it certainly doesn't look nearly as impressive on radar.
I guess there are just no reports of high winds in the area, but it's really odd with the radar presentation.

Got quite a bit of damage in Tennsippibama, power out across a pretty wide area but slowly coming back. Many will be waiting until morning to get it back though
