Hello hey late to the party today, but I’m here now. I kept peeking today but had to work.
I’m no help but am truly a fan you know.

Got a STW for Lawrence and the NW counties. It'll be later when it gets to me, and even later for you. Hopefully it'll be relatively calm. Our area didn't look nearly as conducive as to our West. Hopefully the weak(er) trend holds.

New severe thunderstorm watch in Alabama:

That one got me. I was filling my birdbath when the push alert from the local news channel made my pocket start sounding like a siren.

Even for watches it will do that. I need to see if I can change it.

Vince Waelti has put in the miles this week. From Arkansas, all the way to Iowa, back to Arkansas, and now he's almost in Alabama. He has to he running on coffee and adrenaline.

Of course, he's not the only one.

Murph tweeted about that last night. I responded and asked him if the airport finally sent out a hit to take it out

It doesn't show up on RadarScope. It does on Radar Omega, but hasn't been active in two weeks or so. Wonder what the issue is.

The prof that is charge of it said they’re just waiting on maintenance to get out. Who knows they’ve had a bunch of issues either with something not working right or with the airport bitching about it since it went up.

I don't know about you Monroe folks, but with me it has always been that if I can get it to 45°....dammit, I can make it work.
