I’m quite surprised to wake up and see a big chunk of Alabama has been taken back out of the enhanced risk, and there is no hatched area anywhere.

I want to apologize for posting this, it was incorrect info. I had looked at the wrong outlook and didn’t realize it because I was 75% asleep.

Starting to get a little nervous here in BR. For those to the west, was it as bad as you expected or a bit overrated as far as lightning/ winds?

I live west of LC and never woke up and the dog never barked (and he’s a giant pussy) so I’m assuming it didn’t get that bad.

Counce, TN. I’m essentially right where the MS, TN, and AL state lines meet

Seems the signature, if it holds together, may go just to my south

Lines moving thru the Erwinville metropolitan area right now. Wind has died down considerably and it’s just a lot of rain. Wind was far more severe an hour or so before the rain actually started.

This shite must be super spotty. Mother in law just text and they have two big trees down. They live 10 miles SW of me. My electricity didn’t even blink and it normally goes out if a cow pisses in the road.

Lost power at 6:30 am in Denham. Across the street still has power. We live on a shitty grid. I assume it’ll be out for a while since it’s just getting started. Right now just wind and some lightening. No coffee for me.

I thought the big threat from this system was straight line winds.

Lightning from the west of me is traveling thru the thick cloud cover and is strobing the entire sky over Watson .
