I don't know how I'm going to asleep.
This is going to require numerous Xanax and vodka, some tonic, and maybe limes.

A "moderate risk" is only issued across the nation a few times per year, and even less often along the Gulf Coast.
This is bs hype. High risk can be described that way but not Mod. I don't believe there have been any High days under the new system but plenty of Mod days. On avg, N. Louisiana sees b/w 12 - 15 Mod Risk days per year and S. Louisiana is b/w 5 - 10 with less as you head down towards the Gulf.
The NWS tweet about Baton Rouge is a bit misleading because of the way outlooks are issued. It is a polygon laid over the map and the last time BR was included was then but there have been numerous Mod days since then that included parts of S. Louisiana.
I'm not downplaying tomorrow but it isn't as rare a situation as those quotes make it seem.

There's a huge Indian's dick aimed at Angola.
Simple tactic tomorrow (and I've done this 100.00% of my life):
Avoid Angola.

You can't expect schools and business to close everytime Baton Rouge is supposed to have bad weather. That is just ridiculous.

But you can expect thousands upon thousands of workers having to take the day off from work because the school boards got scared, screwing over the rest of us that are going to work regardless.

I can't wait for a damn hurricane. These last few years without one has everyone panicking over thunderstorms like a bitch. Ridiculous. Enjoy the rain and wind today. Geeze
