Some people also don't read the forecast. No one predicted anything "bad" in NW Louisiana, yet some local offices closed or had a light staff today.

Moisture transport @ low levels.
Higher numbers = better ability to spin
1002 circle in Louisiana seems to be about where our surface low is.
All this says. Birmingham down I65 to Mobile, I20 on the North boundary, and riding down I59 for the west bound. It's where our severe threat is progressing toward.
I20 has been a focus all day with that twist at the top of the system. There's a lot of energy coming in that will drive severe storms to the south of that.
I know our Alabama friends will be happy to see this.

The cell coming up between Mandeville and Hammond might be an issue down the road. It's basically all alone between the linear systems.

It's getting all it's energy eaten by the primary line out front. Which is good, because there's a whole bunch of spin potential ahead of it. Just can't imagine it getting a good enough updraft going.

Hopefully it is absorbed by the secondary QLCS before it moves into MS, similar to the cells above it. It does seem to be weakening in the last few frames.
