I am on the border of Ascension and EBR by the Win Dixie. Couple of sprinkles and thats it. Looks like the first cell passed just across the parish line.

Yeah, I’m near Bluff and Old Perkins. I’m shocked it hasn’t rained on us yet, we somehow missed that nasty cell that just moved through BR

I guess Louisiana schools had a lot of snow/flood days banked this year and decided to take the spring break holiday off early.

frick that. My kids have been testing all week and had more test today. Now they’ll have to make this up at some point and they’re off all next week. Not mention we were supposed to have a baseball game this evening

Not much going on here.

Give it a few minutes. Acadia, Vermilion, and St. Landry are getting pissed on right now. Looks to be more a stupid heavy rain event more than winds or hail. Hopefully, that's all it does as it moves across the state.

Does that cell south of Plaq look like hail? I see some purplish white dots in there.

People like you are obviously ignorant to weather. Just because something didn’t happen to the West doesn’t mean that is has no potential to farther along.
Let it come through and then call it a bust. I personally hope that you do get to call it a bust. Once it actually happens.

My kids too.

My son is pissed because he was supposed to take his last exam today at first hour. He is a senior and today was going to be his last official day of school. Now they have to go back Monday after Easter to take the last first hour exam. A lot of people are going to miss that exam being out for spring break vacations.

Just showed the “Titan 9” storm truck braving the elements and driving through rain on 415 heading west

I’m all in agreement with taking this seriously and paying attentions to the warnings, but the local news guys practically begging for bad shite is what turns a lot of people off IMO
