Supercells are set to develop and move into the Baton Rouge area anywhere from noon thru 1:30 or so. It was never supposed to start this early.

well SPC only has a 5% chance of tornados in SLA which is pretty typical

Where are you seeing that? Everything I'm reading shows more like a 15%

SPC has been agitating today. They had pulled the northern extent of enhanced risk further south in Alabama earlier this morning, and now they've pulled it back north again.

Ok I downloaded RadarScope since I am always lurking in these damn threads. Do I need Tier 1 or what?

Just looks like they shifted back North just a county or so.
Of course that one county is the one I'm in

A modulating influence, however, may be storm mode. The bulk of convection should be quasi-linear, with only conditional potential of warm-sector supercells surviving long enough to become tornadic in that favorable environment before being overtaken by the MCS. QLCS tornadoes (which occasionally can become significant also, though not to the frequency and duration of supercellular ones) also are possible as the convective band impinges on the high-SRH and marginally to moderately unstable boundary layer. For now, will maintain the significant-tornado area with some peripheral modifications.

I thought this portion of the outlook was semi-encouraging. They're seeing the chance for supercell tornadoes at least go down a bit.
