TWC dude in Shreveport was trying to say that previously tornado warned cell had a nasty looking hook on it
anyone get a look at it on radar? did it look as bad
in fact... they're trying to say it's possibly hooking up again

UH = Updraft Helicity
In basic terms, this helps us to see where there might be storms with rotation in their updrafts. Doesn't mean that just because there is a streak/rotation, there will be a tornado. It is just another factor to look at when determining where there might be a tornado threat.
Looking at that on model runs, I like to run as many as possible and see where the UH clusters up the most. SW Mississippi was the best spot overall for UH to get popping.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but La and MS were the ones with the higher threat all along and that wasn’t supposed to be until today?

What time is the shite supposed to hit the fan in Baton Rouge? I need to know what time to head home so my vehicle doesn't get hammered by hail.

After noon.

Half the city shut down anyway, Good Friday is tomorrow. Call it a day about noon for "safety reasons", enjoy a long weekend. Just keep an ear out for warnings this afternoon.
Profit.

Is that a kickball in the road or a big arse piece of hail?

Got rid of my truck for gas and mileage reimbursement reasons, sadly. I miss it.
