Why would he? They will just get released in 2-3 years and then come after him again.
At least if they are out on the streets he can catch up with them and deal with it himself.
This way at least he knows to have his guard up and can deal with it in finality.

Don’t understand why the truck driver didn’t floor it as soon as he saw the door open and guns and run them over. His truck would have hit the first guy and the impact on the red car would have gotten the second. Of course he’d have to duck.
