Every time I bring the wife to see the saints I spring for the Superdome parking garage parking. Ain’t cheap, but cheaper than a new window.

I ventured into the city Saturday night.
I got to see the sights of America’s Oldest Decaying City on the River.
I walked past the steps to Vue Orleans. There was a bum passed out in the elevator. While in traffic and stopped at a light, a lady jumped out the car and twerked on the green fence at the foot of Canal Street for the duration of the red light. Sorry no pics, but arse was so jiggly, it looked like Homer Simpson’s belly. It is probably still jiggling.
Somebody passed up a red light, NOPD stopped the vehicle and then 4 or 5 other cop cars started showing up.
After all that, that was enough New Orleans for now. I will wait to visit again during daylight hours.

I own a key start 2015 Kia Optima in Baton Rouge and it would have been stolen 17 times in Nola in same amount of time I’ve had it parked between my average apartment lot and office near downtown BR.
Crime in BR is not remotely great, murders are common (not Nola common) but otherwise crime is NOTHING like the crime in New Orleans.
But hey!? At least they got them festivals and sports teams!? Never mind the NBA issued warning to the Pels just last season and the NFL threatened future superbowl bids if they don’t turn things around.

Y’all must seek shite out. Knock on wood, I’ve never witnessed anything super ridiculous. Was in the city last Saturday night for a show at the D-day museum and it was pretty Ho-hum.

I was in the city of NOLA this past week - sorry to report nothing happened - however as I put my garbage out this Sunday evening in BR, a bum asked me for money in my own driveway

But the Federal Government Destroya is who brought LaToya The Destroya to you by creating all of this culture of criminal behavior to us in the first place. Then, the judges keep them on the streets, and we all are supposed to just endure, until of course said people wake up one day and have enough of it and vacate such areas as New Orleans and the like and upgrade their lives for something much better in quality of life, and when they do, they don’t give places like New Orleans much of a thought anymore because they have more interesting things to do in their lives besides worrying about that nonsense anymore.

OP title - "Cars vandalized"
Reality - Cars burglarized and property stolen.
OP writes like he works for the Advocate and wants to cover for Progressive failure.

The Riverwalk was better before the boat crashed into it.

New Orleans has made substantial progress in addressing vehicle burglaries in the past few years. In 2023 alone, NOPD has reported a 97% reduction in vehicle burglaries!
According to an unnamed source within the NOPD, regarding vehicle burglaries, a new crime fighting technique of classifying vehicle burglaries as "vandalism" has all but eliminated the problem.
"With the success we've seen with this new technique, NOPD plans to roll out similar solutions across all crime classifications" the unnamed source said.
