May God have mercy on little Jor’Dynn. One reads this stuff and just ponders how can this be real.
As for the murderers - simple, expedient, poetic justice - execution via 90 stabs apiece.
And as for us as a people, we need to do some soul searching on how something like this happens on our watch.

As creatures of free will, we can either choose love or choose evil. God has given us that dignity. Otherwise, we are just his robots.
The skeptic's typical response to this is that God doesn't actually give us a choice, because otherwise we go to Hell.
In the Bible, God directly interacts with humans and intervenes in human affairs multiple times.....yet not anymore and not for the most vulnerable?.

If your answer satisfies you in regard to this, then that is wonderful. For you.
There is nothing I can say or the world can provide to satisfy me in this matter. My heart hurts for the pain endured here.
But God… Only He can satisfy your hearts while dealing with the hardest things we have to endure on earth. And unless you are willing to openly submit to Him and give your heart to Him, no words from me will help.

again, I will reiterate for you since you're having a hard time keeping up: he wasn't "asking" a question. he was making a statement (and a tired one at that) and framed it as a question. He even said as much. Are you actually perturbed that someone with a serviceable IQ wouldn't take time to actually be sincere in a philosophical and theological reply and take up his valuable time to answer someone whom he knows isn't being sincere? Arguing with a fool proves there are two.
here's an answer for you, and after you read it, since you're so interested, feel free to continue in your endeavor: God didn't stab that baby to death any more than God didn't make you ask low tier questions that have already been answered ad nauseam. both were performed by a sentient person with the free will to do so.

I keep leading myself to the opinion that God is hands off. We've been equipped with the proper knowledge and guidance to do right, and, sadly, many don't, and that means that some of the most vulnerable and innocent among us will get caught in the worst of situations, and, unless good people notice and step in, they'll get hurt or worse.
This post and your earlier post actually go together fairly well. You seem like someone who is genuinely seeking answers to difficult questions -- rather than just throwing up your hands and giving up.
You are correct that God is "hands off" in a sense. This is actually foundational Christian theology. That's what The Fall in Genesis is all about. Whether you believe Adam and Eve's act of disobedience was literal or figurative, the outcome is the same. Human beings effectively told God: piss off, we don't need you or your rules.
So God, in an act of love, expelled humanity from Paradise into a fallen world. If he'd allowed them to stay and partake of the "Tree of Life" (immortality) in a prideful state of sin and self-sufficiency, then He'd have effectively cursed hell upon them. It's like letting your 3 year-old stuff cookies and ice cream into his mouth without ever stopping him. Eventually eating all those sweets will have negative, perhaps even deadly, repercussions. So out of parental love, you take away something that the child thinks it wants.
We experience evil in this fallen world because WE (not God) have told God to step aside. But God, as loving as he is, has a plan to redeem us and bring us back to Paradise with him.
One of the ways we do this is by partnering with God to start building his Kingdom here and now -- why wait?
And you are absolutely right...one of the ways we do that is to protect others from evil, which is an expression of love.

I cant even fathom. That poor child - 90 wounds???
From the article "But over the court of the year, the girl repeatedly missed 40 days of school, with Kelly and her kin making up excuses ranging from illnesses and deaths in the family to a made-up trips to Disneyworld."
Needs to be a full investigation on all protocols missed/ignored.

This is infuriating to read this story.
I wish for superpowers to crush and eliminate people who bring harm, abuse, and horrible things upon children.

How? It’s the truth. You aren’t going to believe anything we say about it anyway so there is no use trying to convince you. You’ll just have to take that up with God when you see him.

Allow me to answer your question with a question.
If these murderers had chosen to model their lives after Jesus Christ, do you think this poor child would have still been murdered?
quote:
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
Matthew 25:34-36
Who says God hasn't intervened? He's told us in no uncertain terms how to love and care for others.
Again...God didn't murder this poor child. The people who chose evil over love murdered her.

WTF motivated you to post this?

Provocative thought: if there is a loving and compassionate God, why does he let children suffer through things like this?
I guess it's hard for atheists to understand that the devil is real and not some construct of evil if you also don't believe in God. This isn't the gotcha you think it is.
