I think he was doing the “I feel unsafe don’t you guiseeeee?” Thing just to not have his absolute lottery win of a career taken from him while also tacitly pointing out the hypocrisy they were all participating in

Newsflash: Every generation has their challenges to deal with, because every previous generation had their successes and their failures. Spend less time resenting those who came before you for not doing more and spend more time taking care of your own responsibilities here and now.
