Bunchie, that is besides the point.

How could it be beside the point when you were trying to make the point earlier that he was expressing his feelings and he was humiliated by his employer?

It's exactly the point.

It's about a culture of hate and bigotry that has proliferated recently in our society.

No, you a-hole. It's because Twitter makes it so easy for anyone to say anything to anyone they want to. Trump becoming President (and that's what he's saying) didn't suddenly make millions of Americans decide it's okay to hate gays, as if the 8 years before that were perfect. It's you getting upset over a fricking "Tweet", and acting like your world is burning to the ground in order to cash in on your new found victimhood. Be an adult and get on with your life instead of looking for ways to get attention and attaboys from the internet you weak minded, self-absorbed pussy.

That is a dangerous assumption. Is he cashing in or is he using his position to advocate? I assume you are a straight male, I can see why you couldn't appreciate that.

I am a straight male. Are you?

You can't deny that he was using his position to advocate. It's documented. He posted an open letter. Right, wrong or indifferent, that's objectively true.

This dude is milking in. It’s embarrasing for him. But expected in the totally pussified millinial mindset.

It wasn't a random troll. It was someone who is employed at WWL that likely forgot to log into their anon twitter account. Furthermore, WWL took a pretty long fricking time condemn the statement made on their platform.

Oh he’s telling us how he feels??? We better listen.

frick that. That whole mindset is everything wrong with this country currently. How he feels is utterly stupid.

I’d be willing to bet significantly more than you. Several close ones.

There’s a difference between someone powerful at your employer doing this and a random disgruntled employee, hacker or troll.

Grow up.

Really? Do you realize the number of people who have burner accounts just for the sake of saying shite and not having their actual name attached to it. For frick sake, this very forum has had the same issue pop up numerous times over the decade.

In today's world of being outraged and calling for people to lose their job's sponsorships, boycotts etc, what he wrote wasn't crazy.

We will find out.

Seth needs to have thicker skin if he’s going to be a gay man in the sports world. That’s just reality.

If this event forces him to take a leave of absence he will never make it. Ever.

I don't know if that's too long or not. I would've thought sooner, but maybe they had to talk to upper management and attorneys.

"employer" is broad. Who exactly? He still has to go to work at WWL everyday. Their condemnation of the whole ordeal was weak to put it lightly.

Do we really have to get into the nuances on why that could be embarrassing? As if being degraded publicly from your employer's twitter account like that isn't enough embarrassment.

That's not outlandish. They were probably consulting attorneys and PR firms.

I don't think any honest person thinks WWL condones this or will not take strong action if they find out how this happened.

But, if that's the case, they deserve what they get. We all know that WWL isn't trying to put down homosexuality.

He's been on the WWL for 4+ years now if my memory is correct. I think he's done just fine during that time. Frankly you are focusing too much on the "leave of absence". When WWL should be the prime target at this moment.
