It is almost never this hot until July and August. Having 95-100 degree temps in June is very unusual. It doesn’t bode well for what’s to come in July and August, especially with hurricane season reving up.

There a difference between hot and oppressive heat. June temps in Mobile are normally highs in the upper 80s. We've been mid to upper 90s most of this month and will touch 100 next week.

Last summer was historically cool. It was still in the 80s for most of June where I live. Paid for it in August

Now 2011 was the 100 straight days of 100 degrees. That was a ball sopper.
